Responsibility
automation and process improvement through implementation of CAD automation tools and scripts to enhance design process efficiency and precision
maintain and populate the CAD library, keeping all components, templates, and standards updated and accessible
conduct quality reviews of drawings and models, ensuring they meet internal and client specifications
assist in training new CAD users and provide ongoing support to the team on CAD-related matters
utilising CAD design and drafting skills to generate 2D and 3D drawings and 3D models using Autodesk software such as Inventor, Vault and AutoCAD while ensuring compliance with company and industry standards
CAD administration through the daily management of CAD software, including Autodesk Vault, ensuring efficient functioning and resource utilisation. Address software updates, troubleshoot issues, and provide user support
collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical engineers, electrical engineers, naval architects, and control systems engineers, to ensure seamless integration and compatibility between systems and tools
develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including specifications, work instructions, engineering drawings, and technical reports, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records throughout the process
