- safely and efficiently operate a commercial motor vehicle to transport goods and materials to designated locations
- class 2 truck driving

- manoeuvre the Moffett forklift in narrow spaces and confined areas, ensuring safe and accurate movements
- valid Class 2 driver’s license with Moffett certification
- proven experience operating a Class 2 Moffett forklift
- strong understanding of safety procedures related to forklift operation
- ability to operate a variety of trucks, but especially experience of double decker's
- excellent spatial awareness and ability to manoeuvre in tight spaces
- good communication skills for effective coordination with team members and clients
- knowledge of EU drivers hours rules
- strong communication skills to interact with team members, customers, and dispatchers

- duties
- responsible for the maintenance and repair of fleet/client vehicles
- carrying out road tests
- performing emergency road repairs
- routine vehicle maintenance to DVSA standards
- diagnoses of vehicles utilising computer based diagnostic equipment
- carry out scheduled fleet maintenance tasks
- ability to work within guidelines given and to strict deadlines
- ability to actively seek solutions to problems
- ability to work as part of a team
- good verbal communication skills
- excellent customer care skills
- high level of technical knowledge and ability in mechanical repair
- awareness and understanding of health and safety requirements
- previous experience would be required
- safely operate a company van to deliver goods and materials to designated locations
- load and unload items from the van, ensuring proper handling and securing of the cargo
- plan delivery routes efficiently to ensure timely and accurate deliveries
- communicate with customers to confirm delivery details and address any concerns or issues
- complete necessary paperwork, such as delivery logs and receipts, accurately and in a timely manner
- perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure the van is in good working condition
- adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving
- proven experience as a FLT & Van Driver, Delivery Driver, or in a similar role
- valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required
- familiarity with warehouse operations and procedures is a plus
- excellent communication skills to interact with customers in a professional manner
- strong time management skills to ensure on-time deliveries
- knowledge of commercial driving regulations and safety standards
- delivery driver experience: 2 years
