Responsibility
- safely and efficiently operate a commercial motor vehicle to transport goods and materials to designated locations
- class 2 truck driving
- we are known for delivering exceptional service to our customers
- follow all traffic laws and regulations, as well as company policies and procedures
- operate a Class 2 Moffett forklift to load and unload goods from trucks or trailers
- as a Class 2 driver, you’ll be responsible for safely and effectively loading, unloading, and transporting goods to various destinations
- conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck to ensure it is in good working condition
- manoeuvre the Moffett forklift in narrow spaces and confined areas, ensuring safe and accurate movements
Requirements
- valid Class 2 driver’s license with Moffett certification
- proven experience operating a Class 2 Moffett forklift
- strong understanding of safety procedures related to forklift operation
- ability to operate a variety of trucks, but especially experience of double decker's
- excellent spatial awareness and ability to manoeuvre in tight spaces
- good communication skills for effective coordination with team members and clients
- knowledge of EU drivers hours rules
- strong communication skills to interact with team members, customers, and dispatchers
