Responsibility
- an exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and passionate Assistant Buyer to join our Commercial team
- we have a wealth of experience in the housebuilding industry and a proven track record in delivering successful housing schemes
- support the provision of cost effective supply chain management in line with our business plan and brand aspirations
- we focus on sought after locations and detatched family homes that offer spacious and luxurious living
- assist the Company Buyer in managing the material and supplier tendering process
- we constantly review and update our house styles and design layouts to meet the needs of today's modern lifestyles
- produce and issue detailed tender documents that include all relevant information, drawings and guidance with guidance from the Company Buyer
- there are very few housebuilders who have this eye for detail and build to the same standard as we do
Requirements
- good working knowledge of the house building industry
- experience of supply chain management desirable
- ideally qualified to NHC / NVQ Level 4
- professional and pleasant manner in dealing with internal and external customers
- works to deliver high standards with a strong attention to detail
- excellent communication skills, and the ability to build effective working relationships both internally and externally
