Responsibility
manage the day-to-day operations of the shop/office. Must have flooring sales experience
greet and assist visitors, answer phone calls, and respond to emails in a professional and timely manner
maintain office files and records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
perform basic office management tasks such as invoicing, expense tracking
assist with customer support inquiries and resolve issues in a friendly and helpful manner
perform general clerical duties including answering the phone and taking messages
provide administrative support to the team, including scheduling appointments, for measures and fittings. Supporting director with managing of the weekly diary
Education
GCSE or equivalent
Requirements
previous experience working in a flooring shop/office or retail environment preferred
excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
customer service: 2 years
strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
administrative experience: 2 years
