Requirements

  • interviewing for the purposes of obtaining quotes for news and features, as directed by the editors
  • assisting the editors with proof-reading, writing and production tasks, as and when required
  • supporting and representing the journals by attending/ reporting on conferences for the various magazines. This may include writing of conference news and feature-length reports, as directed by the editors, observing relevant production deadlines

Responsibility

  • ensuring the e-newsletters have sufficient, engaging news content and are distributed to readers according to the required weekly deadlines
  • liaising with the editors within the Step Communications portfolio, to ensure each of the magazines and their associated digital platforms are allocated editorial support and attention
