- maintain accurate records of inspections and findings
- assist in sampling and testing procedures to ensure product safety and quality
- collaborate with team members to identify and resolve any quality-related issues
- ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as industry standards
- support the training and development of new staff in quality control procedures
- previous experience in quality control, preferably in the food or agriculture industry
- knowledge of fruit and vegetable handling, storage, and inspection processes
- strong attention to detail and ability to spot issues quickly
- good communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- A passion for fresh produce and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards
- basic understanding of health and safety regulations is a plus
