Responsibility
- manage, reconcile and keep secure the petty cash expenditure within the home

- implement and maintain a staff management system to include a personnel checklist for all staff. Ensure recruitment documentation is complete and in place before appointing staff
- maintain and reconcile staff rosters and timesheets to ensure payroll details are accurate before submission to HO or the payroll bureau as directed
- prepare and issue regular Management Reports within prescribed timescales
- promote the home and Porthaven as a provider of high quality care
- ensure that you have read and understood all relevant company policies and procedures and that you comply with these at all times
- ensure invoices to Service Users are produced accurately and promptly
- answer the telephone, respond to enquiries from Service Users and Visitors and direct enquiries in a friendly and efficient manner
- complete the training log with the HM and forward at every month-end to the Operations Director . Ensure individual staff training folders are complete and up to date
- prepare and submit relevant Service User financial information to Head Office to ensure invoices to Local Authorities are produced accurately and promptly
- order and maintain records of Staff Members uniforms
- at the discretion of the HM take line management responsibility for Housekeeping, Maintenance and Catering
- attend and participate in all training sessions and staff meetings as required
- any other reasonable instruction from the Home Manager, which is within your area of competence
- assist with the recruitment process
- maintain Staff attendance records
- maintain complete files for Service Users and Staff Members in line with the Company’s policies and procedures
