Responsibility
- we are looking for a qualified nurse and an apprentice to join our team at Stamford House Dental Practice
- support the Lead Dental Nurse as required during the working day
- duputise for the Lead Dental Nurse in their absence and complete stock ordering as required

- wistaria Dental Practice is a medium sized and fully private dental practice, based in Crediton, Devon. Due to the continued growth and expansion of the practice, we are now looking for a 'Deputy Lead Dental Nurse' to join our team
- complete the Infection Prevention Audit every 6 months and report any actions to the lead dental nurse
- we are looking for someone who is trustworthy, caring, efficient, confident and enthusiastic in offering the best patient care and offering the highest level of standards within the dental practice
- be responsible for ensuring all check sheets are available and completed in surgery and the decontamination room
- be responsible for making sure all dental equipment validation checks are completed and recorded as required
- partake in 1-2-1 reviews and appraisals with the dental nursing team, recording notes as directed by the management team. Help formulate action plans as a result of these meetings
- be responsible for making sure all annual maintenance of dental equipment is completed and recorded as required
- assist the dentist during dental treatments, with chairside support as required
- prepare treatment rooms and sterilise dental instruments as per HTM01-05
- support the front of house team, as required to help ensure a smooth and professional journey for our patients
Requirements
- dental assisting: 1 year
- dental Nursing: 1 year
