this role involves the following duties & responsibilities
to comply with all Health and Safety regulations including Food Hygiene and C.O.S.H.H. regulations and ensuring compliance from all kitchen staff
to provide residents with nutritious meals on a daily basis
to meet residents dietary requirements as necessary
to ensure all kitchen equipment is working at a safe and efficient level of functioning, reporting to Manager any shortfalls
to ensure cleanliness in the Kitchen area at all times and undertake deep cleans of the Kitchen and all food preparation and storage areas on a regular basis
to attend and partake in staff meetings
\*To Wash up after meals with the assistance of the Kitchen Assistant , ensuring all crockery and equipment is cleaned and stored appropriately, and that the overall Kitchen are is Kept Clean at all times

undertake the care planning activities for the people we support to meet changing physical, psychological and social needs, taking into consideration privacy, dignity, personal choice and informed consent
ensure care plans are developed in collaboration with individuals, their families and friends and members of the multidisciplinary team
Requirements
minimum of 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse in a clinical setting, preferably within a nursing home
excellent communication and interpersonal skills
must have a valid NMC pin with no restrictions
strong clinical and person-centric skills
ability to work effectively and autonomously in a fast-paced environment
proficient in care techniques, including assessment, monitoring, and documentation
strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
proficient with safe systems of medication administration and management
