Requirements

  • proven experience in telesales or a similar role

  • familiarity with transportation or logistics industry is a plus
  • comfortable using CRM software and other sales tools

Responsibility

  • maintain a good working knowledge of operations within the transport department
  • adhere to tachograph rules and regulations at all times
  • the job will entail delivering and collecting palletised freight for our customers on curtain sided trailers
  • ensure daily vehicle checks are completed in line with company procedure
  • responsible for unit and curtain sided trailers
  • 2-3 Nights Out
  • SSO are a leading haulage company for transport & distribution of palletised freight, importing containers, container de-van, storage then onward delivery to anywhere in the UK & Europe
  • due to considerable growth we are looking for both experienced professional HGV C+E drivers on a permanent basis to join our winning team at our brand new distribution centre in Haydock
