Responsibility

  • litter picking of stockpiles to ensure high quality of product
  • services and assist in repair of the crusher system
  • performs housekeeping duties around site, including shoveling
  • stops crusher system in the event of a problem
  • reports any problems to supervisor
  • loading and unloading of material either into store or across the site. This will involve manual handling of heavy and/or awkward objects
  • perform daily equipment, walk around and site inspections to identify and correct any unsafe conditions and keep equipment properly maintained
  • responsible for the removal of all waste products in line with the Company’s Environmental policy

payroll administrator

Responsibility

  • assist with day-to-day operations of the HR & Payroll functions and duties
  • provide clerical and administrative support to Human Resources Manager and Payroll Manager
  • compile and update employee records
  • process documentation relating to personnel activities
  • assist in payroll preparation by providing relevant data
  • maintain clocking in system, update missing hours, holidays and sickness
  • liaising with line managers to resolve clocking in discrepancies

Responsibility

  • evaluating new credit requests and reviewing customers’ credit eligibility setting up approved applications
  • preparation of debtor list, monitoring and evaluating stop list daily whilst liaising with sales team and directors
  • obtain sufficient information to assess the creditworthiness of new and existing customers including credit limit reviews
  • checking and posting of receipts to accounting systems, reconciling all sales ledger accounts for all Group companies
  • full credit control procedures including sending routine letters, statements and all relevant information as required

Responsibility

  • repairing, replacing and fitting vehicle tyres
  • performing seasonal tyre changeovers
  • performing tyre diagnostics
  • checking and adjusting wheel balance, alignment and rotation
  • inflating vehicle tyres
  • ensuring work areas and tools are kept tidy and in good working order

welder

Responsibility

  • ensures starters and leavers are processed correctly and in a timely manner, and that appropriate controls are in place

  • to assist with programming together with batch schedule to ensure maximisation of all company resources and requirements
  • to ensure all required maintenance duties are carried out
  • to ensure batch hut and storage areas are clean and tidy
  • to liaise with the sales team to ensure all customer needs are met
  • to ensure that all vehicles leaving the concrete plant are loaded with the correct product/volume/quality and have the appropriate documents
  • to ensure all plant and other defects are reported correctly and timely
  • to ensure all necessary production records are maintained to company standards
  • to ensure BS EN206 BS 8500 quality standards are complied with
