the role will involve working on a variety of equipment including high speed bottling lines and associated packing machinery
carry out planned preventative maintenance schedules on plant equipment
attend to breakdowns and diagnose faults, repairing machinery and equipment to a high standard
as part of the Engineering team, this role will be responsible for ensuring that all machinery and equipment are maintained, repaired and serviced to a high standard to enable maximum efficiency within our manufacturing site located in Lennoxtown, Glasgow
identify recurring defects and implement corrective actions
ensure all engineering documentation such as plans, manuals, permits and risk assessments are maintained and up to date

Requirements
recognised engineering qualification or equivalent experience
demonstrable electrical engineering skills, encompassing fault finding, repair and installation work
ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and diagrams
excellent fault-finding skills using various test equipment
experience of working with high speed bottling lines would be an advantage
knowledge of PLC control systems
sound knowledge of Health and Safety procedures and safe working practices
experience working in a food manufacturing environment would be desirable
