  • highland Spring Group is seeking a reliable and experienced Maintenance Engineer with Electrical bias
  • the role will involve working on a variety of equipment including high speed bottling lines and associated packing machinery
  • carry out planned preventative maintenance schedules on plant equipment
  • attend to breakdowns and diagnose faults, repairing machinery and equipment to a high standard
  • as part of the Engineering team, this role will be responsible for ensuring that all machinery and equipment are maintained, repaired and serviced to a high standard to enable maximum efficiency within our manufacturing site located in Lennoxtown, Glasgow
  • identify recurring defects and implement corrective actions
  • ensure all engineering documentation such as plans, manuals, permits and risk assessments are maintained and up to date

Requirements

  • recognised engineering qualification or equivalent experience
  • demonstrable electrical engineering skills, encompassing fault finding, repair and installation work
  • ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and diagrams
  • excellent fault-finding skills using various test equipment
  • experience of working with high speed bottling lines would be an advantage
  • knowledge of PLC control systems
  • sound knowledge of Health and Safety procedures and safe working practices
  • experience working in a food manufacturing environment would be desirable

transport manager
