Responsibility
- highland Spring Group is seeking a reliable and experienced Maintenance Engineer with Electrical bias
- the role will involve working on a variety of equipment including high speed bottling lines and associated packing machinery
- carry out planned preventative maintenance schedules on plant equipment
- attend to breakdowns and diagnose faults, repairing machinery and equipment to a high standard
- as part of the Engineering team, this role will be responsible for ensuring that all machinery and equipment are maintained, repaired and serviced to a high standard to enable maximum efficiency within our manufacturing site located in Lennoxtown, Glasgow
- identify recurring defects and implement corrective actions
- ensure all engineering documentation such as plans, manuals, permits and risk assessments are maintained and up to date

Requirements
- recognised engineering qualification or equivalent experience
- demonstrable electrical engineering skills, encompassing fault finding, repair and installation work
- ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and diagrams
- excellent fault-finding skills using various test equipment
- experience of working with high speed bottling lines would be an advantage
- knowledge of PLC control systems
- sound knowledge of Health and Safety procedures and safe working practices
- experience working in a food manufacturing environment would be desirable
