Responsibility

  • driving company van predominantly between Spellman UK sites . However, this is not exhaustive
  • loading and unloading the van in a secure manner, with materials to de delivered and returned
  • being part of the Stores Team ensuring departmental KPIs are achieved with the intention of developing and sustaining the 6S programme
  • maintaining regular communication
  • review the deliveries with recipients to ensure they are accurate
  • ensure vehicle is clean and always maintained. Plan delivery routes and carry out safety checks on the vehicle
  • daily reporting of metrics
  • receive, check and then receipt materials using the ERP system

Requirements

  • clean, full UK driver's license
  • experience driving Luton sized vehicle or equivalent
  • previous stores / warehouse experience desired
  • good time management
  • ability to work with minimal supervision
  • good numeracy and literacy skills
  • material handling experience
  • strong interpersonal and written skills
