- take responsibility on reception, answering patient queries and managing the practice diary
- be responsible for general administration, clerical support
- arrange and rearrange appointments
- write letters as required by the clinician
- good all-around skills particularly administration, planning, delegation and task management
- manage and develop non-clinical aspects of patient/customer care
- computer Literate, familiar with MSOffice Software of Excellence
- ensure smooth and efficient running of the premises and equipment
- understand the brand message of the practice and deliver outstanding patient experiences
- working with clinicians to meet the goals of the practice
- ability to support and motivate the nursing team, chairside support for clinicians to meet the goals of the practice
- sound knowledge of HTM 01 05
- computer literate and SOE experience advantageous but not essential as training can be given
- we are looking for a passionate team leader who will ensure smooth running of the practice
- routine nursing duties and infection control
- other responsibilities as required
- qualification in Dental Nursing – NEBDN or NVQ 3
- GDC registration
- dental Nurse Registration with the General Dental Council
- hepatitis B immunization
- IT literate, knowledge of the SOE practice management system would be an advantage
- ability to provide a portfolio of documented evidence of CPD attained
- experience with SOE software
- specialist chair side assisting
- understand the brand message of the practice and deliver outstanding patient experiences
- educating patients on proper teeth and gum care and the importance of diet on oral health
- removing plaque, cleaning teeth, and helping to prevent gum disease
- supporting the Dentist in all aspects of dental care
- charting dental conditions based on observations and evaluation
- IT literate, knowledge of the SOE practice management system would be an advantage but not essential
- ability to provide a portfolio of documented evidence of CPD attained
- hepatitis B immunization
- CQC and Compliance familiarity
- pleasant personality and good communication skills
- minimum of 1-2 years’ experience
- GDC registration: Dental Hygienist
- dental Hygienist: 1 year
- at least 2 years Management experience preferred
- dental background is preferred but not essential
- excellent leadership skills with extremely high standards
- an excellent communicator with a passion for helping people and growing teams
- CQC knowledge advantageous
- computer literate essential and SOE experience advantageous but not essential
