about the role
about the Arts Council Collection
we are looking for a Technical Manager to join the Arts Council Collection on a full-time, fixed term basis until October 2025
the Technical Manager, based at the London store to work closely with the Senior Leadership Team, Collection and Technical team on the overall loans, exhibitions, acquisitions and store move project
the Arts Council Collection has been a pioneering force in British Art since the 1940s
they will support and advise on all aspects of the technical operation, the store move to Coventry, and manage the day-to-day operational management of the London store
working closely across sites and with the team to ensure all technical services are delivered following best practice and to exceptional standards

technical project manager

we are looking for a Technical Academy Project Manager to join our Creative Engagement department on a 6 month fixed-term, 3 days per week basis
working closely with the Creative Engagement Manager to manage the recruitment of participants, lead tutor, pastoral support and any freelance support for the pilot
to line manage Technical Academy Lead Tutor and pastoral support roles. To liaise with, and support, the Technical Academy Consortium Lead , working closely with the wider Southbank Centre Technical Academy delivery team
to coordinate pre-course training and resources for internal Southbank Centre staff, e.g. course resource pack and training modules for staff across safeguarding and teacher-training
working closely with the Creative Engagement General Manager, to monitor and track expenditure within agreed budgets
working with the Lead Tutor and Creative Engagement team, to run the three week course in March 2024, achieving a meaningful balance between process and outcome; content and product
to ensure that all projects within the programme are delivered to the highest possible educational and technical standards with ambitious learning objectives
to ensure that Southbank Centre’s values towards all partners and participants are enacted, and that health & Safety, safeguarding and and respect are maintained to a high level
