  • MIG & TIG welding – stainless, Alloy, Mild Steel and other general fabrication work
  • setting up components for welding as per the process/ specifications
  • welding repetitive jig work
  • manufacturing components to meet customer requirements
  • self-inspection of work in accordance with the company QMS
  • ensuring Company Health & Safety requirements are met
  • read, understand and implement engineering drawings

operations manager

Responsibility

  • managing the daily functioning of the business
  • ensure smooth operations across the various functions of the business, Production, Office Staff, Welders
  • controlling logistics, and workflow through the workshop
  • checking quotes before they are sent out
  • monitoring staff and ensuring they are punctual and following instructions
  • managing operational costs
  • liasing between workshop staff and Director
  • would be responsible for Managing staff, recruitment and training

ground worker

Responsibility

  • operate a variety of plant machinery, including excavators, dumpers and rollers
  • organise machinery and materials required for jobs
  • execute groundworks & civil engineering to a high standard
  • perform civil engineering tasks such as drainage, foundations and utilities installation
  • conduct routine maintenance and safety checks on equipment
  • ensure all work complies with safety regulations and company policies
  • work with management to meet deadlines and project requirements
  • maintain a high standard of workmanship and take pride in every project

Requirements

  • proven background in groundworks, civil engineering and plant hire would be preferred
  • valid CPCS or NPORS card
  • full UK Driving Licence

Requirements

Responsibility

  • basic machinery operations – Laser and Press brake
  • accurately assemble orders for delivery, completing relevant documentation and ensuring the order is clearly marked with customer delivery information
  • assisting with stock takes
  • loading and unloading materials and equipment from delivery vehicles
  • checking goods received from suppliers against delivery notes and purchase orders, noting discrepancies or damages
  • assist with loading company delivery vehicles
  • maintain high levels of housekeeping and ensure a safe working environment
  • ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures

design engineer

Responsibility

  • working with the customer & their supplied outline information to design parts & assemblies to their requirements
  • work with customer supplied technical drawing packs to produce manufacturing information for our production department & workshop
  • ability to derive replacement part and/or assemblies from customer supplied damaged and/or worn items
  • occasional site visits to local customer site maybe required to record design information for customer order or quotation
  • production of 3D CAD models, 2D drawings & Bill-of-Materials
  • utilise the companies ISO 9001 system for document release and revision control for each project
  • creation of customer quotations
  • work with & maintain customer and supplier relationships

administrator

Responsibility

  • point of contact for all customer Sales enquiries
  • creation of all sales product codes and sales orders on Sage 50
  • creating and managing production schedules that meet customer demand and deadlines and ensuring all departments are aligned with the production timeline
  • coordinate with suppliers to get raw materials and components on time
  • implement safety regulations and company policies
  • handle clerical tasks such as managing schedules, producing paperwork and maintaining communication between departments
  • respond to any production-related and raise any supplier quality issues
  • collect quotes from suppliers • Place orders with suppliers • Keep tabs on stock inventory and place orders for optimal stocks
