Responsibility
● To help maintain the plant and equipment to ensure the company complies with all health and safety regulations
● To work with the Engineering team to identify problems and provide solutions
● To have a continuous improvement approach to equipment performance
● To ensure the Company assets are maintained to achieve maximum efficiency
● To ensure all tasks are carried out in accordance with the Site Health and Safety policies
● To maintain excellent communication between all departments
● To carry out engineering works on equipment on site as instructed by the Engineering Director. Repairing equipment in a safe and timely manner ensuring that Production is continuously updated on any progress
Requirements
● Skilled in both Electrical and Mechanical trades
● Electrical Qualifications
● Experience of PLC’s
● Knowledge of engineering disciplines including pneumatics, hydraulics, steam systems
● Self-motivated
● Ability to develop effective working relationships across all levels of management and staff and work as part of a team
● Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
● Electronic fault finding to component level
