Responsibility
- you will be expected to conduct site surveys and assessments of damaged properties
- you need to be confident using basic IT apps and functions
- you will be responsible for starting the restoration process
- perform water mitigation, structural drying and mould remediation using specialist equipment in line with IICRC standards
- the purpose of this role is to restore domestic properties to their pre-incident condition following a leak, flood, fire or smoke damage and to assist in getting customers back in their homes as quickly as possible
- the main functions of this role are to perform water mitigation, fire/smoke restoration and mould remediation services whilst assisting our teams of building specialists and staff who may be responsible for rebuilding and repairing the property
- cleaning and decontaminating properties which have suffered fire, flood or other insured perils
- you will perform water mitigation, structural drying and mould remediation using specialist equipment in line with IICRC standards
Requirements
- hands on, practical, problem solving mindset
- restoration and Construction skills preferred
- plumbing and basic construction skills
- IICRC Certifications, BDMA or Dewpoint accredited preferred
- strong customer service skills - able to deal with customers in sometimes stressful situations
- DBS checked, or checkable
- ability to manage quickly changing priorities
- remain calm and focused under pressure
