Responsibility
- ensuring that hygiene and cleanliness standards of the kitchen areas are outstanding at all times is paramount. You'll need to be able to proactively work with the team to ensure kitchen spaces are kept hygienically clean, tidy and organised
- we are currently looking for a part time Kitchen Porter / Kitchen Assistant to join our kitchen team
- your day to day duties will include setting up for service, accepting and unloading deliveries, organising and rotating stock, colleting and washing pots, maintaining the cleanliness of kitchen stations during service and assisting with closing down the kitchen ensuring all stock is put away, all surfaces, floor and equipment is clean and rubbish is taken out

- dishwashing: Operate the dishwashing machine and wash pots, pans and other kitchen items by hand as required
- waste management: Dispose of kitchen waste appropriately and keep the refuse area clean and organised
- stock Management: Assist with the receipt and storage of deliveries, ensuring all items are stored correctly and promptly
- health and Safety: Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper use of chemicals and equipment
- you'll also be responsible for completing daily and weekly cleaning checklists. As well as having opportunities to assist with basic food preparation and desserts

- our servers are very well versed in our food and drink and help guests with ease to select menu items and make great recommendations perfect for their tastebuds
- our guests' favourite part about coming to Smoke & Rye is when that picture perfect plate of food hits the table in front of them and our Servers are there to make sure they have everything they need to enjoy their meal
- housekeeping: Keeping a clean and organised work area, including tables, chairs, service stations, customer toilets and customer facing areas
- customer Service: Is all about multi-tasking, whilst ensuring every interaction with guests is a great one from the moment they step through the door to the moment they leave
