Responsibility

• ensuring that hygiene and cleanliness standards of the kitchen areas are outstanding at all times is paramount. You'll need to be able to proactively work with the team to ensure kitchen spaces are kept hygienically clean, tidy and organised
• we are currently looking for a part time Kitchen Porter / Kitchen Assistant to join our kitchen team
• your day to day duties will include setting up for service, accepting and unloading deliveries, organising and rotating stock, colleting and washing pots, maintaining the cleanliness of kitchen stations during service and assisting with closing down the kitchen ensuring all stock is put away, all surfaces, floor and equipment is clean and rubbish is taken out

• you'll also be responsible for completing daily and weekly cleaning checklists. As well as having opportunities to assist with basic food preparation and cooking

• must follow all health department requirements and consistently maintain a clean working environment
• as the Head Chef/ Manager of the kitchen, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the kitchen and ensuring the highest quality of food preparation and service
