Responsibility
- SINTEC UK LTD is a group of medium-sized UK companies operating in the fields of electrical and mechanical engineering and services
- develop and implement effective tax planning strategies ensuring compliance with UK tax laws and regulations
- prepare accurate and timely tax returns, considering the specific tax requirements of each company within the group
- collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to address tax-related queries, audits, and investigations specific to these industries
- as a dynamic group, we are seeking a skilled and experienced Financial Manager to join our team and contribute to the financial success and sustainability of our group of companies
- under the supervision of the CFO, the purpose of the role is to lead UK financial reporting and statutory accounting activities including VAT and Corporations tax management
- stay updated on changes in UK tax laws and regulations relevant to the industries we operate in, providing guidance to senior management on potential impacts and opportunities
- coordinate and liaise with external auditors to facilitate audits and address any accounting-related queries
Requirements
- bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
- recognised accounting qualification and 3/4 years of relevant post-qualified experience
- strong understanding of IFRS and UK GAAP standards
- knowledge of working in QuickBooks, Sage, ERP systems
- financial management in the UK companies: 2 years
- financial management in the UK companies: 3 years
