  • perform regular reviews/appraisals and develop individual development plans to ensure skill sets meet ongoing business requirements
  • ensure all work is conducted to the highest HSEQ standards at all times

Responsibility

  • execute repairs following mechanical breakdowns using recognised problem-solving techniques
  • ensure that planned preventative maintenance tasks are completed to the expected standards
  • develop prioritised plans for maintenance activity ensuring that maintenance windows are fully utilised
  • develop preventative maintenance instructions based on breakdown history and root-cause analysis
  • assist with electrical breakdown activity and planned maintenance tasks, including interrogation of computer software to ensure fault diagnosis
  • use the computerised maintenance management system to log faults and report potential defects, analyse fault information and record hours and materials used
  • complete all documentation accurately and as required by site procedures
  • use predictive maintenance techniques such as thermo-graphic imaging, ultrasound, and vibration analysis as well as experience, skill, and judgement to make regular assessments of the plant condition
