SHORTLIST RECRUITMENT is looking for employees for positions:
senior infrastructure engineer
Responsibility
- installing and configuring servers, systems, and applications for Production and Pre-Production environments
- supporting, monitoring, and maintaining automated and manual batch processes, ensuring compliance with Service Level Agreements
- proactively monitoring internal infrastructure and developing and integrating systems management and monitoring tools to optimize performance and capacity
- managing security and patch updates to maintain the integrity and security of the systems
- providing technical expertise and consultancy to resolve operational problems, manage risks and issues, and support junior team members
- managing Rack Space in our Data Centres and collaborating with key 3rd party suppliers
- staying abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to implement system backup procedures and enhance the operational efficiency of the systems
- taking ownership of the Request fulfilment and Incident Management processes and playing a key technical role in delivering critical Business Projects
Requirements
- MCSE certification
- ITIL, VCP, CCNA certification
- strong knowledge of Virtualisation Technologies , Windows Enterprise Domain Environments, and Active Directory Services
- understanding of Microsoft SQL, SharePoint, Server infrastructure, Azure Cloud for infrastructure services, Linux Debian, Postgres administration, and ELK Stack
