A job opportunity has arisen for a full time Cooks role at Stallingborough Lodge. Stallingborough Lodge is a busy 47 bedded residential home.All of our homes hold quality awards from the local authority and Stallingborough is rated good by CQC.The following job description covers the main duties of the role:Main Responsibilities:To be responsible for the delivery, ordering, storage, preparation, cooking and serving of all food and drink within the home.To cater for each individuals requirement of each service user.To be conversant with and follow all health and hygiene rules.To ensure that the kitchen maintains a high standard of cleanliness at all times.To ensure that all equipment is safe when leaving the kitchen at any time.To follow the uniform policy at all times, and wear protective clothing as required.To maintain accurate records of service users personal likes and dislikes, cleaning records, food menu’s, food storage temperatures, stock, stock rotation, food served, dietary requirements and any other records as required.Maintain and order adequate food stocks.To follow the Health & Safety PolicyTo follow COSHH Data.To attend and participate in staff meetings.To support management protocol.To work as part of a teamTo undertake any training as required.To participate in Enviromental Health Visits, Care Quality Commission Inspections, and Quality Framework Assessments with NELCCG.To keep up to date with the Safer Food Better Business Guide.NVQ in food hygiene/preparation and cooking preferred (or equivalent)Job Types: Part-time, PermanentSalary: From £9.50Job Types: Full-time, PermanentSalary: From £9.50 per hour
