Responsibility
- we are currently seeking an experienced Aluminium Window and Door Fabricator for a full-time position
- undertake all aspects of fabrication, including cutting profiles, crimping, gasketing, and cleaning in a commercial environment
- ensure that fabricated pieces are made to specification and meet high standards of finish
- this role also involves providing technical support, training, and collaborating with the production management team
- optimize materials during production and prevent damage to material surfaces
- liaise with the Production Management to assess the build process for each new job/contract
- provide technical support to other team members and assist in solving any problems discovered
- maintain a clean and tidy work environment
Requirements
- minimum 5 years of experience in the fabrication of aluminium window, door, and curtain walling systems
- ability to work effectively as part of a team
- detailed knowledge of aluminium window and door fabrication systems, including SAS
- experience in fabricating aluminium storefronts, frames, and doors
- ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- ability to work with various materials, machines, tools, and equipment used in the industry
- strong organizational and communication skills
- familiarity with manufacturers' installation instructions
