- check all client account opening documentation before final submission to ensure it complies with 7IM guidelines
- ensure compliance with industry regulation – specifically MiFID II and AEOI legislation
- set up and maintain client, portfolio and account data in 7IM and Pershing systems in an accurate and timely manner
- onboarding of new clients, including setting up online access for clients, chasing updates on new applications with external providers
- setting up all payments for ISAs, SIPPs, Bonds, GIAs
- liaise closely with front office and Transitions teams to ensure an efficient opening process
- AML checks for new and existing clients – including KYC and bank account checks
- ‘Getting your foot in the door’ at a Financial Services / Wealth Management firm might seem like trying to find a needle in a haystack because you think you lack experience in these areas
- you will also assist with queries regarding the client My 7IM Portal
- maintenance of fee schedule and commission payment data
- the successful candidate will be working within the Client Servicing Team to support Advisers with new and existing Discretionary, Wealth Management and Family Office clients
- you will prepare paperwork, processing New Business both internally and with external providers, income withdrawals, contributions

- you will be keeping back-office systems and client databases up to date and accurate, overseeing regular payments, the preparation of paperwork, processing of new business, transfers out/account closures and liaising clients and colleagues
- deal with daily queries efficiently and effectively
- support preparation of regular financial planning reports for clients in conjunction with colleagues in the investment team, where applicable
- build good and lasting relationships with clients and understand their motivations
- providing cover front of house welcoming Clients as and when required
- undertake any projects or longer-term responsibilities that are assigned
- you will be keeping back-office systems and client databases up to date and accurate, obtaining information on a client’s existing investments and collating this information
- act promptly and professionally to resolve client and colleague enquiries or concerns

Requirements
- investment Operations Certificate would be beneficial
- candidates must demonstrate numeracy & literacy skills to at least A level/Higher standard
