  • maintain the company’s open order book
  • relay production and shipping schedules back to other sales team members so they can update customers as and when required
  • maintain customer sales information
  • develop clear and effective written proposals/quotations for current and prospective customers
  • expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints
  • supplies management with oral and written reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitor activities, and potential for new products and services

Requirements

  • current full drivers licence, due to remote location
  • display high levels of initiative and responsibility
  • this role may also involve working outside of normal hours, including occasional weekend work
  • ability to demonstrate excellent communication skills with people at all levels
  • knowledge of CRM systems advantageous but not essential
  • excellent literacy and numeracy skills
