- this role would be suitable for someone with extensive legal/ commercial contracts experience looking for the next step in their career
- drafting, reviewing, and helping negotiate supply contracts and client agreements
- advising on the shape, structure and set up of commercial / procurement contracts
- we are looking for a Contracts Manager to join our team, to work within a commercially focused team covering commercial and procurement activities
- the successful applicant will work with the Head of Legal in drafting, reviewing, and potentially participate in, the negotiation of all contracts including client agreements and supply contracts
- collaborating closely with internal clients to get contracts closed
- providing trusted and proactive legal/commercial advice, both verbally and in writing
Requirements
- A UK qualified solicitor
- material commercial law practice and knowledge
- knowledge of employment and tax law is beneficial
- A law degree, LPC / BPTC or equivalent experience
- experience working within an in-house role would be beneficial
- can demonstrate skilled, confident, hands-on contractual drafting
- experience of public authority procurement – Outsourcing and insourcing agreements, Hardware, Software, SaaS agreements, services agreements
- experience of negotiating commercial contracts / making deals happen
