Responsibility
- I am 57 years old and have a diagnosis of mild learning disability
- I am a fun and energetic character and love making people laugh
- I am trying hard to work on my diet as I have recently been diagnosed as pre-diabetic
- to encourage me to develop life skills in relation to domestic task, social activities, money management and relations
- I need support staff to help me to eat a healthy balanced diet
- to support education and attendance
- to support my education and attendance
- will manage the finances with the service. This includes Seco Support finances as well as mine
Requirements
- I need to know you are going to be there for me and be able to keep me and others safe
- with this in mind it is important I get the right type of people to support me
- ideally, I am looking for people with one of more of the following attributes
- kind
- fun
- an NVQ or equivalent and experience in managing supported living services is essential, along with great time management, motivation forward thinking. Full training will be provided through Seco Supports full induction programme and online learning
- creative
- strong relationships are important to me but I need time to get to trust you, so please be patient with me when you first start
