  • fabricate and assemble wooden structures, frameworks, and fittings according to specifications
  • operate power tools and hand tools safely and effectively for cutting, shaping, and finishing materials
  • conduct electrical installations and repairs as required within the scope of joinery work
  • perform plumbing tasks including installation of fixtures and fittings
  • execute painting tasks to finish surfaces to a professional standard
  • carry out roofing work including the installation of trusses and sheeting
  • engage in heavy lifting as necessary when moving materials or assembling components
  • collaborate with other tradespeople on-site to ensure seamless project execution

Requirements

  • proven experience as a Joiner or in a similar role within the construction industry
  • must be be experienced and competent in traditional roof construction and all 1st fix joinery
  • joinery: 10 years
  • carpentry: 10 years
