this role would suit someone with proven industrial experience in a foundry, automotive or defence manufacturing business
you will be directly responsible for coordinating and ensuring quality requirements are compiled with throughout the business
liaising with leading automotive and defence customers to fully understand their quality and processing specification relating to each project
creating 8D, PPAP, FMEA and Control Plans
develop and maintain quality control plans to create robust repeatable manufacturing techniques and inspection sign off
managing the measurement of non-conforming goods effectively and implementing con continual improvement

Requirements
degree qualified or HND educated within an engineering or manufacturing discipline
you must have a proven experience managing and successfully improving quality standards within a foundry, automotive or defence manufacturing environment
you will have strong leadership skills to communicate and manage quality standards across the business to ensure KPI targets are achieved
have the ability to professionally communicate and build relationships with our customers and understand their business requirements and expectations
you will be able to demonstrate proven experience and implement improvement techniques to effectively increase quality and improve costs
experience of the casting and machining process is highly desirable
