Responsibility

  • scott Fire Protection Services are seeking a Fire Alarm Trainee to join our team within our expanding business
  • you will work alongside our Fire Alarm Engineer
  • you will be trained on the relevant industry standards, codes of practice and manufacturers regulations
  • to assist with servicing and maintaining fire alarms and emergency lights to British Standards 5839 and 5266
  • must be able to respond to work orders quickly and efficiently whilst maintaining health and safety standards

  • once Sufficiently trained, will be required to work as part of an on call rota system
  • to assist with the installation and servicing with a high level of safety, ensuring that the work is serviced and installed to the required standards, specification, schedule and that all documentation is completed, whilst providing a friendly and efficient service to our customers

Requirements

  • 17th/18th Edition qualification preferred

  • detailing a defect material list using our software to enable office to provide defect quotations
  • installing and repairing fire-rated doors, frames, and hardware as per site inspections
  • building and Installing fire-rated enclosures e.g. electrical meter cupboards etc
  • collaborating with other team members to ensure compliance with fire safety regulations
