erect and dismantle scaffolding following safety guidelines and regulations
dismantle scaffolding structures upon project completion, ensuring all materials are accounted for and stored properly
inspect and maintain scaffold equipment for safety and functionality
collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure scaffolding meets their requirements for access and safety
collaborate with the construction team to ensure scaffolding meets project requirements
perform inspections of scaffolding to ensure structural integrity and compliance with safety standards
utilise power tools, hand tools, and other equipment to assemble scaffold components
Requirements
proven experience in scaffold building or a related construction field is preferred
proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and welding techniques is essential
familiarity with electrical systems, masonry work, roofing, plumbing, and carpentry will be advantageous
strong understanding of health and safety regulations related to construction sites
proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools commonly used in scaffold building
previous experience in scaffold building or a related field is desirable
ability to read and interpret blueprints or technical drawings is beneficial
experience with welding techniques is advantageous for structural integrity
