Responsibility
effective sales of Sawday’s membership to develop, curate and maintain a collection of special places
meeting monthly sales targets
providing exceptional customer service
collecting market and operational insight and to support ideas for future development
proactive sales research and conversion of cold leads
trips where needed, for inspection / sales trips and representing Sawday’s at member and industry events
identifying opportunities to improve our team processes and activities in the wider team

Requirements
an eye for really Special Places to Stay, and empathy for their owners and guests
preferably degree, or equivalent level
A proven track record in a sales focused role – with a love of managing and delighting customers
happy making improvements in processes and systems to increase efficiency
some knowledge of the travel market
excellent written, conversation and comprehension skills
customer handling experience
self-motivated, a willingness to work hard and a can-do attitude
