Responsibility
- safely operate a variety of vehicles, including tractor-trailers, vans, and trucks
- transport goods and materials to designated locations
- load and unload cargo using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment
- plan and follow assigned routes to ensure timely delivery
- adhere to all traffic laws and regulations
- inspect vehicles before and after each trip to ensure they are in good working condition
- maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel usage
- communicate with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery status
Requirements
- valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- previous experience in route driving or courier services preferred
- ability to operate vehicles with manual transmission
- familiarity with warehouse operations and equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks
- strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required
- excellent communication and customer service skills
