you will work directly under and alongside the Director of Care and the rest of the team
cover calls or shortfall whenever required to meet the business needs
to support, supervise, and guide a group of Support/Care Workers with efficient planning and delivery of support/care to service users
to arrange regular reviews with Social Workers, Service Users, Relatives and Key workers
to uphold the security and confidentially of records and information relating to the service
to meet professional and legal responsibilities with regard to the storage, handling and administration of medication and drugs
covering calls either directly or indirectly when support/care workers are sick and will be paid at support worker rate
to work with Service and Care Manager to ensure that the Service Users’ appointments are booked and service users’ are supported to attend
Requirements
to be able to maintain high standards of care and support provision
must have excellent communication and presentation skills
to have experience overseeing and managing a staff team
self-motivated, organised, flexible, and caring
excellent administration and good IT skills
to be able to cope with emergency and difficult situation
good relationship builder to both internal and external customers, and the team
