- you will be working with include children in care, care leavers and children and young people on child protection plans
- we are looking for the right person who can provide information, advice and advocacy to children and young people based on principles of empowerment, respect, independence, choice, equal access and anti-discriminatory practice
- we are also looking to develop a young person’s inspector role, which you will help create and support
- you will support children and young people to understand their rights and entitlements and ensure that that their views are clearly represented
- you will also have to work directly with children and young people and establish processes for participation that enables their involvement in decision making and ensuring their views are heard and taken seriously
