Responsibility
- administer daily orders, provide sales support to Area Manager , raise, Log, and administer quotations for project activity across brands
- manage day to day workload of international sales desk for contracts; processing sample orders, main orders, and enquiries for B2B accounts
- build rapport and relationships internally and externally including global agents, distributors, and specifiers to coordinate projects
- assist and support customer enquiries on product stock levels, production lead times, pricing, and product specification
- calculate prices across currencies and by GM units to achieve budgeted margins
- gather product cost prices, fire retardant prices and calculate carriage in line with Area Manager margins, facilitate currency conventions
- assist and raise quotations for international project enquiries and maintain data on shared database
- communicate and provide weekly reporting on the status of projects to the contracts team leader
Requirements
- customer service experience , preferably B2B and international
- strong organisational and administration skills
- strong interpersonal skills
- ability to problem solve
- experience working in a office/desk-based role
- sound IT skills, including MS Office skills
- experience working with Mertex or other ERP systems
- understanding of/an interest in the application of fabrics, wallpapers and paint
