Responsibility

  • fabricate and assemble parts using hand tools and power tools
  • work with all types of materials including plastic, metal, rubber, glass, wood, etc
  • work with a variety of hand tools including drills, saws, screwdrivers, wrenches, hammers, etc
  • perform routine maintenance on machinery and equipment
  • clean work areas and machines as needed
  • perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager

Requirements

  • previous experience in a manufacturing setting is required
  • knowledge of various types of machinery and equipment is preferred but not required
  • experience with shop equipment such as forklifts is preferred but not required
  • experience with shop air compressors is preferred but not required
  • experience with saw machines is preferred but not required
  • ability to work independently or as part of a team is not desired
  • experience in Upvc or Aluminium systems
  • fabrication: 1 year
