Responsibility
- fabricate and assemble parts using hand tools and power tools
- work with all types of materials including plastic, metal, rubber, glass, wood, etc
- work with a variety of hand tools including drills, saws, screwdrivers, wrenches, hammers, etc
- perform routine maintenance on machinery and equipment
- clean work areas and machines as needed
- perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager
Requirements
- previous experience in a manufacturing setting is required
- knowledge of various types of machinery and equipment is preferred but not required
- experience with shop equipment such as forklifts is preferred but not required
- experience with shop air compressors is preferred but not required
- experience with saw machines is preferred but not required
- ability to work independently or as part of a team is not desired
- experience in Upvc or Aluminium systems
