Responsibility
handling a caseload of residential conveyancing matters from start to finish
conducting property searches, reviewing legal documents, and preparing contracts
liaising with clients, estate agents, and other solicitors to ensure a smooth transaction process
taking initial client instructions and dealing with the paperwork and correspondence
providing legal advice and guidance to clients regarding property transactions
resolving any legal issues or complications that may arise during the conveyancing process
checking relevant paperwork regarding exchange and request deposits
keeping accurate records, updating case files, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
Requirements
chartered Legal Executive, Licensed Conveyancer or unqualified fee earner with substantial experience in residential conveyancing, handling your own caseloads
strong knowledge of property law, conveyancing processes, and relevant legislation
excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex legal concepts to clients
exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
proficiency in using case management systems and other relevant software
