Responsibility
greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm
take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring special dietary requirements are noted
serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards
upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and maximise sales opportunities
maintain cleanliness and organisation of tables, service stations, and dining areas
assist with food preparation tasks as needed, adhering to food safety standards
handle guest enquiries professionally, providing excellent guest services at all times
process payments accurately using the point-of-sale system
Requirements
previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is desirable but not essential
knowledge of food safety standards and basic food preparation skills
strong organisational skills with effective time management abilities
excellent communication skills with a friendly demeanour
ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
basic maths skills for handling transactions and bills
experience in guest services, with a focus on creating positive dining experiences
culinary or kitchen experience is a bonus but not mandatory
