- carry out heavy lifting tasks as required, ensuring safety protocols are followed
- assist in carpentry tasks related to the installation of iron structures
- engage in roofing activities when necessary, ensuring proper installation techniques are applied
- maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations
Requirements
- proven experience as an Ironworker or in a similar role within the construction industry
- strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues
- proficiency in welding techniques is essential; certifications are preferred but not mandatory
- familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and safety equipment used in construction
- experience in masonry is advantageous but not required
- A valid commercial driving licence is beneficial for transporting materials to job sites
- ability to perform heavy lifting consistently throughout the workday
- excellent teamwork skills with a commitment to safety practices on-site
