• enhancing the People Manager experience for the user and helping towards the goal of providing a fantastic premium service for RSM clients
• upgrading the Gender Pay Gap reporting experience for clients and helping towards the goal of providing a premium service for RSM clients
• you may also have experience of the P11D process and other cyclical HR and payroll tasks
• an HR or payroll qualification would be ideal, either CIPD or CIPP
• working towards owning your own portfolio of clients where you will process the end-to-end payroll and build strong relationships with your clients
• if not, then practical experience in these areas will be considered just as valuable in the absence of a relevant qualification
• dealing with incoming client / customer / temporary worker communications and understanding the nature of the inquiry in order to resolve it or pass it to the correct individual / department
• the ideal applicant will have strong operational and practical understanding of HR and Payroll matters including HR and Payroll systems and the way they should link up seamlessly
• experience in professional services or an outsourced provider high volume environment will be considered advantageous
• completing any other ad hoc duties as required
• supporting and covering for the Team Leader when they are unavailable
• checking inputted data and making all relevant corrections before completion for review
• managing client billing
• carrying out other duties which are within the scope, spirit and purpose of the job, the title of the role and its grading, as requested by the line manager or Head of Department
• prior exposure to payroll or HR is advantageous but not required
• reviewing payrolls processed by less senior members of the team
• completing team administration
• raising sales invoices and credit notes, uploading to factor accounts and delivering to customers
• about the firm and department

Requirements

• previous experience of supervising a team
• A minimum of 2 years' in-house payroll experience
• in-house payroll experience
