Responsibility

  • work from fabrication drawings and verbal instructions
  • cut and reshape metals using a variety of tools
  • use oxyacetylene and plasma cutting equipment
  • use hand tools to cut metals, such as tin shears, nibblers, and hammers
  • replace parts in machines and make small repairs
  • use welding machines and plasma cutters to cut metals
  • mark welds for quality control
  • work on own initiative as well as part of a small, busy team
