Responsibility
- empower individuals we support to lead fulfilling lives by providing them with incredible opportunities and experiences
- assist individuals with domestic duties, personal care, and any necessary moving and handling
- complete risk assessments to ensure a safe environment for all
- developing and nurturing positive relationships with families, local authorities, and other stakeholders
- perform general administrative duties, participate in reviews, meetings, training sessions, staff development, and supervisions
- managing flexible staff support schedules to cater to the evolving needs and aspirations of the individuals we support
- oversee the service in the absence of the Manager
- promoting the Wilf Ward Family Trust both internally and externally
Requirements
- sensitivity and intuition, along with the energy to foster a trusting, stimulating, and diverse environment
- experience in managing and supporting staff
- A deep passion for empowering and supporting individuals and staff teams
- previous experience in a care/support setting
- comfort in taking initiative and assuming ownership of tasks
- demonstrated compassion and a caring nature
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to work both independently and as part of a team
