Responsibility

  • safely operate company vehicles to transport goods and materials to designated locations
  • load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and secure packaging
  • plan routes and follow schedules to ensure timely deliveries
  • adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving
  • perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks
  • communicate with dispatchers or supervisors regarding any delays or issues
  • maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel usage, and delivery times
  • provide exceptional customer service by being professional, courteous, and helpful

Requirements

  • valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • previous experience as a Night Trunk driver or in a similar role is preferred
  • knowledge of commercial driving regulations and safety standards
  • ability to operate HGV tractor unit and trailer up to 44ton
  • strong time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • C+E Driving: 1 year
