- safely and efficiently operate an HGV Class 1 vehicle

- perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections
- ensure accurate and timely completion of paperwork and logbooks

- use of Roadrunner app is required
- valid HGV Class 1 license
- 1 years HGV Class 1 experience
- CPC qualification
- an HGV1 entitlement on licence
- no more than 6 points
- no more than 6 penalty points
- no IN10/DR10/DD endorsements
- strong knowledge of road transport regulations

- we are looking for an experienced Transport Administrator to join our dedicated team handling day-to-day operations
- organising the drivers on a daily basis on arrival at the depot
- managing the drivers through the day by keeping in close contact with them and monitoring their performance
- briefing and debriefing drivers etc
- ensuring that deliveries are completed within agreed timescales
- liaising with shift managers and dealing with any on site issues throughout the day
- experience of route optimisation and problem solving would be useful as our Transport Shift Supervisor
- experience of utilizing Velocity & Haulage Exchange
- self motivated, self sufficient, problem solving
- transport & Logistics experience is essential
- providing a comprehensive handover to the Evening Operations Supervisor
- working with external clients/partners regarding collections and deliveries
- escalating concerns to the correct channels i.e. 24/7 vehicle recovery, insurance etc
