  • providing day-to-day support to sourcing and procurement activities, managing routine procurement tasks, and supporting strategic initiatives or projects
  • developing innovative, business-winning solutions by challenging conventional thinking and contracting
  • managing and influencing internal stakeholders across the business
  • negotiating on existing and new contracts to ensure the best cost and service to the business
  • supporting the delivery of key projects and leading projects solely
  • ensuring a professional and effective business relationship with suppliers
  • taking a lead role in the end-to-end procurement lifecycle, from sourcing to contract negotiation, execution, and ongoing Supplier Performance and Relationship Management

Requirements

  • demonstrable track record of Indirect Procurement/Commercial acumen
  • contract management experience
  • multi-site procurement and stakeholder management experience
  • experience in a complex supply chain environment, such as large retailers, oil & gas, aerospace, automotive, nuclear, etc
