Responsibility
kitting: Gathering and organizing parts, subassemblies, and materials according to production orders or picking lists
material Handling: Moving materials and components to and from workstations, potentially using forklifts or other machinery
inventory Management: Maintaining accurate stock levels, potentially including cycle counting or reporting discrepancies
quality Control: Performing basic checks on components and assembled kits to ensure they meet standards
workplace Organization: Keeping the work area clean and organized, and reporting any safety hazards
machine Operation: In some cases, operating machinery to prepare components for kitting
documentation: Potentially completing paperwork related to kitting and material movement
