conduct thorough eye examinations using diagnostic equipment
diagnose and manage ocular diseases and conditions such as glaucoma, cataracts, and macular degeneration
prescribe spectacles and contact lenses as required
provide pre and post-operative care for cataract patients
educate patients on proper eye care and preventive measures
collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
maintain accurate and detailed patient records
stay updated with the latest advancements in optometry and participate in continuing education opportunities
