Responsibility
- A busy construction company based in Newton Abbot, is currently recruiting an experienced Payroll Clerk
- as the Payroll Administrator you’ll be the first point of contact for pay related queries
- you will ensure all Employees and Sub-Contractors, are paid on time and accurately
- process all payment data such as wages/salary of CIS contractors and employees
- receive, process, issue and amend all paperwork, e.g., invoices, expenses, new starter contracts, pay rises etc
- ensure CIS contractor payments are accurate and the correct tax % is deducted, to send to HMRC
- inputting data into SAGE
- issue/amend and maintain all employee, contractor, supplier contracts and records
Requirements
- experience working in a busy payroll or finance team is preferred
- some knowledge of payroll legislation, e.g. PAYE, NI, CIS
- payroll: 1 year
